This Privacy Policy governs the privacy policies and practices of our application and website (collectively, the "Platform") in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, and Google Play Store Developer Policy requirements.

By using the Naattil app or website, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

To provide our services efficiently, we collect the following types of information:

A. Information You Provide to Us

• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, mobile number, email address, and password.
• Delivery Information: Physical addresses, landmarks, and alternative contact numbers necessary for fulfilling orders.
• Merchant/Seller Data: If you register as a seller, we collect business details, store addresses, bank details for payouts, and product inventory details.

B. Information Automatically Collected

• Location Data: With your explicit permission, we collect precise GPS location data (including background location for Delivery Boys) to calculate delivery fees, show nearby shops, and track live deliveries.
• Device Information: We may collect details such as your IP address, device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for analytics and security purposes.
• Camera & Photo Library: We request access to your camera and gallery only when you choose to upload a profile picture, product images (for sellers), or chat attachments.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To process and fulfill your orders, including coordinating with local shops and delivery personnel.
• To track your delivery in real-time and provide accurate ETA.
• To process payments securely through our third-party payment gateway (Razorpay).
• To communicate with you regarding order updates, customer support, and promotional offers (only with your consent).
• To detect and prevent fraudulent activities and ensure platform security.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do NOT sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We only share information under the following circumstances:

• With Sellers & Shops: We share your name, delivery address, and phone number with the specific shop you placed an order with so they can prepare your items.
• With Delivery Partners: We share your delivery address and contact number with our assigned delivery personnel to ensure successful delivery.
• With Service Providers: We use Razorpay for secure payment processing. We do not store your credit/debit card numbers or UPI PINs on our servers.
• For Legal Reasons: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

Account Deletion: You have the absolute right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. You can request account deletion by:

• Visiting our dedicated Data Deletion Request page at https://naattil.in/delete-account.html.
• Navigating to the 'Profile' section inside the Naattil App and clicking 'Delete Account'.

Upon deletion, all your personal details, order history, and wallet balances will be permanently removed from our active databases within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.

5. Security of Your Data

We implement industry-standard security measures, including SSL encryption and secure server architecture (Supabase), to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Platform is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
